Sideline respect
Encourage players, respect officials and keep comments constructive. Umpires are a vital part of every game and many are learning through development levels.
A safe, respectful sideline helps players enjoy their netball and helps coaches, managers and umpires keep learning.
Families, spectators and young officials
KNC supports the Netball Queensland Green Band Initiative, which helps create a safer and more encouraging environment for young umpires. A green band is a visual cue that the umpire is under 18 and still developing.
Players, coaches and spectators should treat umpires with respect. If there is a concern, the team's coach or manager should contact the KNC Umpire Convenor or a committee member at the courts.

Parents and caregivers are responsible for drop-off and collection at training and game day. Coaches, managers or committee members remain with a child until their nominated parent or caregiver arrives.
The club celebrates games, training and events through photos and videos. Images should be respectful, safe and appropriate, and surnames should not be used without specific consent.
Families, spectators, players, coaches and committee volunteers all contribute to the feeling around the court. The goal is simple: make netball safe, fair and enjoyable for every participant.
